4 RBs Who Could Win You Your Fantasy League
Every year, a handful of RBs win leagues — these four could be next.
Every year, a few running backs end up breaking fantasy football.
But if you want to get ahead of it — you’ve got to identify the right mix of talent, opportunity, and upside.
Here are 4 running backs who check every box in 2025…
1. Jordan Mason – Minnesota Vikings
He might be the most underrated back in fantasy right now.
Last season, in games where Mason played over 50% of snaps — he averaged 106 rushing yards per game.
Now he lands in Minnesota behind a 30-year-old Aaron Jones — with one of the most improved offensive lines in the league.
If Aaron Jones misses time… Mason’s stepping into 20+ touches a game — in a Kevin O’Connell offense…
2. Christian McCaffrey – San Francisco 49ers
I get it — he burned people last year.
But here’s the reality, McCaffrey is reportedly healthy. No restrictions. And the workload might actually increase this year.
In 2023, he was the RB1 in fantasy — earning over 2000 total yards and 21 touchdowns. Now there’s no Deebo Samuel to siphon carries and no Jordan Mason behind him.
CMC is going to be fed — and if he stays healthy, you’re getting a Top 3 overall player in Round 2…
3. Bhayshul Tuten – Jacksonville Jaguars
Every year at least 1 late-round rookie back breaks out.
And Tuten checks some serious boxes:
• Productive in college: 1237 total yards in 2024
• Extreme Athlete: 4.32 forty — fastest RB at the combine
Now he enters a backfield where Travis Etienne is regressing and Tank Bigsby struggles in the pass game.
Coach Liam Coen compared Tuten to Bucky Irving — Irving was a Day 3 rookie who exploded under Coen’s system in 2024.
If Etienne gets hurt or phased out… Tuten could be this year’s Bucky Irving…
4. TreVeyon Henderson – New England Patriots
This one’s easy. Henderson is a 3-down back and he just landed in a great spot.
The Patriots spent a 2nd-round pick on him and he’s more explosive, more efficient, and more reliable than Rhamondre Stevenson or Antonio Gibson.
He has elite pass protection skills and last year he averaged an insane 7.1 yards per carry. Don’t be surprised if Henderson is the RB1 in New England by Week 3…
Bottom Line:
These are the exact backs who end up winning leagues — and right now, they’re still priced like afterthoughts.
Clear value. Late-round edges. League-winning upside.
