Hey!

There are 4 running backs sitting in the middle rounds right now who are about to win people their leagues.

Here are the 4 RBs set to explode in 2026:

#4 D'Andre Swift

Swift quietly finished as a Top 20 RB in 2025 with 1087 rushing yards (12th) and 10 total TDs. The efficiency jump was the real story: 4.8 true YPC (9th) and 5.4 yards per touch (8th).

The Bears are one of the most run-heavy offenses in football (505 attempts was 5th in the NFL). The only competition remains Kyle Monangai.

From Weeks 7-18 with both healthy, Swift was the RB1 in this backfield and he's never finished worse than an RB2 in his career…

#3 Bhayshul Tuten

Tuten just inherited nearly 300 vacated touches in a Liam Coen offense. The same system that turned Bucky Irving into a league-winner in 2024.

Travis Etienne is gone to New Orleans. He was the RB13 last year at 13.9 points per game (16.4 after the Week 8 bye).

Tuten’s main competition is Chris Rodriguez (112 carries last year) and LeQuint Allen (23 carries last year).

Jacksonville also passed on every RB in the draft and instead spent Day 1 and 2 capital on run-blocking pieces. Tuten has upside in Round 6-7…

#2 Jadarian Price

Seattle let their Super MVP lead RB walk to Kansas City this offseason.

They drafted Price who played behind Jeremiyah Love at Notre Dame in 2025, but still went for 746 yards on 6 yards per carry with 11 rushing TDs.

Zach Charbonnet tore his ACL in the playoffs and likely won’t be ready until around Week 12. Price’s main competition will be Emanuel Wilson.

The Seahawks were 3rd in scoring at 28.4 PPG and Top-10 in rushing. Price is a strong option in Round 6…

#1 Chase Brown

Brown was a Top-8 fantasy back earning 14.6 points per game last year. He's also closed back-to-back seasons on a heater:

  • 2024: RB5 averaging 18.3 PPG from Weeks 9-17

  • 2025: 17.3 PPG from Week 6-17

The Bengals added 0 competition. Samaje Perine and Tahj Brooks continue to be Brown’s only competition. They combined for 118 total touches last year.

Brown is once again a solid pick in Round 2 of drafts…
