Happy Sunday!
We are only 1 week away from the first NFL Sunday of the season. Lets go!
Today I want to quickly go over 4 RBs who are worth trading for before Week 1 begins, buy low on them while you still can:
#4 Breece Hall
His goin injury has sunk his value from a Top-25 player to outside the Top 40 for many people. That’s crazy to me.
The injury is considered minor, if there was a game today, he’d probably be a full go.
Breece just put up 1400 total yards last year on the worst offense in football with a 73.7% opportunity share.
Now Geno Smith is his QB, a checkdown machine who just fed Ashton Jeanty over 70 targets last year. The Jets also just gave Breece an extension a few months ago…
#3 Jordan Mason
He's the workhorse in Minnesota but he's valued outside the Top 100 fantasy players.
When Aaron Jones missed time last year, Mason immediately went to 13.8 points per game and was a strong RB2 option.
Every report out of camp has Mason as the workhorse with Jones as the often injured RB2 who is now 31 years old…
#2 Jacory Croskey-Merritt
He put up 805 yards and 8 TDs as a 7th round rookie last season.
In the 9 games JCM got 10+ carries last year, he averaged 10.8 points per game with 6 TDs. That was on a broken offense with an injured QB.
This offseason, the team is actively working to get him involved as a pass catcher.
Rachaad White will be involved, but this offense has a real ceiling with a healthy Jayden Daniels. Both RBs can be good and JCM is pretty cheap to acquire in trades right now…
#1 Travis Etienne
Alvin Kamara, Devin Neal and Ty Chandler all suffered injuries this August in the Saints backfield. Etienne is about to be a clear workhorse to start the season.
Last year, he finished 1 yard shy of 1400 total yards with 13 TDs. From Week 9 on he was at 16.4 points per game with 10 total scores in half a season alone.
Now he’s on the Saints and coach Kellen Moore is the perfect coordinator here. He loves to play high-pace meaning more plays per game.
A few years ago, Kellon Moore helped Saquon hit 2005 rushing yards and 15 TDs…
