There are 5 players I'm trying to draft in every league I'm doing right now because the market hasn't caught up to any of them yet.
Here’s why:
#5 Josh Downs
Michael Pittman just walked out the door and Downs is still going in Round 10.
In 2024 with Joe Flacco, Downs averaged 15.5 PPG on 9.5 targets a game and finished as a Top-20 WR in 5 straight games. He’s shown he can handle more work.
Pittman is gone (111 targets vacated) and Daniel Jones coming off a torn Achilles pushes this passing attack a bit shorter. Downs is set for a big season…
#4 Stefon Diggs
Diggs just signed with Washington and he's still going as the WR51.
He's coming off a 1013-yard season (15th in the NFL) despite only playing 55% of the Patriots snaps last season.
Deebo Sameul and Zach Ertz are both gone (171 targets vacated), and reports out of Washington already say Diggs is an immediate impact piece…
#3 Kenneth Walker
He just walked into the cleanest backfield in football on a 3-year, $45M deal.
Isiah Pacheco and Kareem Hunt are both gone. Walker’s competition is now a 5th-round rookie, a former 7th-round pick, and Emari Demercado.
Reports out of camp already have Walker inheriting the entire backfield, the goal-line and possibly seeing a large pass-catching role. He's a strong pick in Round 2…
#2 Kyler Murray
He's going in the 11th round and he just landed in the best offense of his life.
Kyler has finished as a Top-12 QB every healthy season of his career.
He’s officially been named the Vikings starter, it’s hard to beat the mobile upside he has late in drafts.
#1 Jaylen Waddle
A team just gave up a 1st-round pick for Waddle and he's still going as a 5th round pick.
Despite terrible QB play last year, he finished 10th in yards per route run. He was also the WR13 in 2022 at 1356 yards while sharing the field with prime Tyreek Hill.
Now he gets Bo Nix, who threw the ball more than any QB in the NFL last season (612 attempts) in a much improved offense…
