Here are 5 players skyrocketing up my rankings after the moves we just saw:
#5 Omarion Hampton
The Chargers didn’t add real RB competition for Hampton.
His current backfield is basically Keaton Mitchell + Kimani Vidal, and Hampton already separated from Vidal when healthy last year.
But the bigger win is investment in other run game pieces by adding Center Tyler Biadasz, Guard Cole Strange and FB Alec Ingold.

#4 Brock Purdy
Purdy has been a stud whenever he’s healthy, and now he finally gets a real outside alpha again with Mike Evans joining the 49ers.
If Evans stays healthy, the combo of Evans + Pearsall + Kittle + CMC gives Purdy a much higher weekly ceiling for fantasy…
#3 Tyler Warren
The Colts re-signed Alec Pierce and traded away Michael Pittman, which frees up 111 targets from 2025.
Pierce keeps his intermediate/deep role, and Warren is the perfect player to soak up the chain-mover volume underneath that Pittman leaves behind.
Especially with Daniel Jones coming off an Achilles, it could lead to even more short passes in this offense…
#2 Ashton Jeanty
Jeanty was productive despite a brutal environment, putting up 1300+ total yards and 10 TDs as a rookie in arguably the worst offense in football.
Now the Raiders add C Tyler Linderbaum (elite run-blocker), the projected #1 pick QB Fernando Mendoza and new coach Klint Kubiak.
Jeanty looks like a strong fantasy pick right now…
#1 Kenneth Walker
Walker landed in the best spot possible in Kansas City.
He gets 3 years, $28.7M guaranteed to be the Chiefs RB1. With Isiah Pacheco + Kareem Hunt gone, his main competition is Brashard Smith & Emari Demercado.
Walker will now be a locked in 2nd round pick in drafts this summer…
