Here are the 5 players to let your idiot leaguemates draft in 2026:
#5 Joe Burrow
He’s going as the QB3 in fantasy drafts right now and he's finished as a Top-3 QB exactly once in the last 5 years.
In 2024, he led the NFL in attempts, red zone attempts, passing yards, and passing TDs, and still only finished as the QB3.
The problem is the floor. He gives you almost nothing on the ground (2.4 carries per game, 11.8 rushing yards per game).
Jalen Hurts is going 20 picks after Burrow with much more rushing upside. You can wait on the QB position this year in drafts…
#4 Jacory Croskey-Merritt
JCM had a couple of fun spike games as a rookie but that was about it. He finished as the RB38 averaging 8 points per game.
In the 6 games he played alongside Chris Rodriguez from Week 9 on, JCM put up just 4 points per game. Rodriguez put up 12.1 points per game during this span.
Now Washington added Rachaad White, Jerome Ford and drafted Kaytron Allen. He's the RB40 in early drafts, way better swings in that range…
#3 Travis Etienne
He just got paid and it might be the worst possible thing for his fantasy value.
He become a Top 12 fantasy back in in 2025 the second coach Liam Coen showed up.
Now Etienne leaves Coen and joins the Saints. Bucky Irving lost Coen in 2025 and went from averaging nearly 17 points per game as a starter in 2024 with Coen to just 12 per game in 2025 without Coen.
The Saints ranked 31st in rushing efficiency and 28th in rushing yards last year. Alvin Kamara will keep the receiving role if he doesn’t retire and Tyler Shough could take goal-line work.
Etienne in Round 3 feels bad as long as Kamara is on this team…

#2 Marvin Harrison Jr.
He’s 2 full seasons into being a fantasy disappointment, and the situation just got worse.
In 2025 he was the WR39 with just an 18.0% target share (50th).
He's the 3rd option in his own offense. Trey McBride earned 169 targets, 126 receptions 1239 and receiving yards last season. Michael Wilson broke out as the WR20 with 1006 yards down the stretch.
Then the Cardinals took Jeremiyah Love 3rd overall, they’ll likely be more run heavy this season just naturally after ranking last in rush attempts in 2025.
Marv as the WR31 in early drafts is a bad value…
#1 Travis Hunter
He’s an incredible WR, but he sadly doesn’t get the full snaps at the position.
The 2025 WR line was ugly: 7.1 points per game, 28 catches, 1 touchdown before suffering a season-ending injury.
While he was out, the Jaguars traded for Jakobi Meyers and Parker Washington broke out. Not to mention, Brian Thomas is still on this team.
Hunter will be fighting for what's left over on limited snaps. Let your leaguemates draft him instead…
