If you lost your fantasy league in 2025, it was likely because you had one of these 5 players:

#5 Justin Jefferson

Jefferson still had elite volume, but the fantasy production collapsed.

From Week 10 on he was completely unstartable averaging just 5.5 points per game.

The most brutal part was his catchable target rate. Only 66% of his targets per catchable due to poor QB play.

A 1st round pick giving waiver-level production down the stretch is how teams lose...

#4 Brian Thomas Jr.

This was the worst kind of miss.

The offense was good, the quarterback played great, and the team won games. But the fantasy production never showed up for Thomas.

He finished the year as the WR46 despite being a 2nd round pick. And it only got worse once Jakobi Meyers joined the team.

From this point forward, Thomas averaged just 7.4 points and became the 4th option in the passing attack…

#3 Alvin Kamara

Kamara looked like a “safe value” because the name still carried weight.

But his efficiency drop was real & passing game role went away. He then got injured right when the situation improved because...

Tyler Shough and the Saints offense played much better the final 6 games of the season. The offense was scoring 22 points per game during this time.

Kamara went as the RB15 in drafts and finished as the RB40 in points per game...

#2 Xavier Worthy

Late-season flashes from 2024 inflated his ADP entering 2025 drafts.

But his 2025 season was derailed right away because he injured his shoulder in Week 1 and then would go on to injure his ankle.

Worthy played through these injuries but was not the same player.

And despite Rashee Rice being out 6 weeks, Worthy still didn't produce - earning just 37 yards per game...

#1 Lamar Jackson

Lamar was drafted for the rushing cheat code and it looked good to start the year.

From Weeks 1-3 Lamar averaged a whopping 27.6 points per game.

But then an injury hit and he wasn't the same player because from Weeks 9-16 Lamar averaged 13.3 points per game. Plus his rushing upside cut in half this season.

So you drafted Lamar for his rushing cheat code. But you got a hobbled version of that at a 2nd round cost. Not ideal...
