5 Rookies That Could Break Fantasy Football in 2025

1. RJ Harvey (Broncos)

Denver used a 2nd-round pick on Harvey — a clear signal he's their guy. Javonte Williams is gone, Audric Estime struggled last year, and Jaleel McLaughlin is just a change-of-pace.

Harvey’s built like a tank (5'8", 205) and has elite burst and contact balance. He’s a perfect fit for Sean Payton’s system — and 225+ touches in Year 1 is very realistic…

2. Omarion Hampton (Chargers)

L.A. spent a Round 1 pick on Hampton — even with Najee Harris on the roster. That tells you everything.

Hampton had 2 straight 1,500-yard seasons at UNC and has legit 3-down ability.

He walks into a scoring-heavy offense with Justin Herbert at QB and Najee on a borderline backup RB contract. This is Joe Mixon 2.0…

3. Matthew Golden (Packers)

Green Bay never drafts WRs in Round 1 — but they took Golden. Why?

He ran a 4.29, led Texas in receiving last year, and brings legit vertical + YAC upside.

With Christian Watson always hurt and Romeo Doubs in a contract year, Golden could be Jordan Love’s favorite target by midseason…

4. Terrance Ferguson (Rams)

The Rams almost took Ferguson in Round 1 — that’s how high they are on him.

He’s an elite athlete with a real shot to carve out the TE1 role in Sean McVay’s offense. His main competition? An aging Tyler Higbee and Davis Allen.

He’s this year’s rookie TE breakout candidate…

5. Tetairoa McMillan (Panthers)

Bryce Young finally got help. McMillan is 6’4", 219 with back-to-back 1,300-yard seasons in college and the ability to dominate from the slot or outside.

His only competition: 35-year-old Adam Thielen, raw 2nd year WR Xavier Legette, and a depth guy in Jalen Coker.

He’s walking into a WR1 role — and might be Dave Canales next Chris Godwin…
