Hey!

Today's quick tip: rethink your kicker scoring.

I used to be fully in the "just remove kickers" camp, and honestly, I still get think that way sometimes. But I've come around to something better.

The problem isn't kickers themselves. It's the boring 3-points-per-make format that isn’t exciting to anymore.

Here's the fix: switch to 0.1 points per yard on the field goal.

A 53-yarder is now worth 5.3 points. A chip shot from 20? Just 2. Suddenly your kicker slot actually rewards research, team tendencies and matchup analysis instead of blind luck.

It adds a real layer of strategy without overcomplicating anything and it makes those long-range bombs feel like they matter.

Bring this to your league vote this offseason. Trust me, it makes the kicker spot more enjoyable.

Cheers,

Sal
