Hey!
Week 5 is almost here and I’ve spent 5 hours tracking all the injury reports this week.
Here are 20 injury updates you need to know for Week 5:
#20 Ashton Jeanty is questionable. He injured his foot in practice Thursday and missed then Friday’s practice. Jeanty is trending to be OUT. Mike Washington is now my RB15 this week projected for 14.6 points…
#19 Justin Jefferson is questionable. He practiced all week despite his ankle injury. If active, Jefferson is my WR12 projected by 16.1 points…
#18 Lamar Jackson is OUT. Tyler Huntley will start for Baltimore. Zay Flowers moves down to my WR14 projected for 14.6 points…
#17 DJ Moore is trending to miss Monday night. He hasn’t practiced yet this week after re-injuring his shoulder. If Moore misses, Khalil Shakir becomes my WR26 projected for 12.3 points, Keon Coleman would be my WR39 projected for 9.8 points…
#16 Kyle Monangai is OUT. He’s battling turf toe and could miss more time. D’Andre Swift is reportedly ‘able to go’. Swift is now my RB10 projected for 16.1 points…
#15 Tee Higgins is questionable. Ja’Marr Chase is also questionable with a concussion. If both miss, Dohnte Meyers would be a Top 20 WR option this week. If only 1 misses, I’d prefer starting Mike Gesicki instead…
#14 Ladd McConkey is OUT. Quentin Johnston is also questionable. This makes Tre Harris a solid start in fantasy. He’s currently my WR29 projected for 11.7 points…
#14 Chris Olave will play. He hurt his knee at the end of the game last week. But Olave was left off the final injury report. He’s my WR8 projected for 16.7 points…
#13 Breece Hall remains OUT. This makes Braelon Allen a must start RB Week 5. He’s my RB9 projected for 16.7 points. Expect a massive workload for Allen this week…
#12 Jeremiyah Love is trending to play. He injured his ankle Week 4, but Love has been able to practice limited all week. If active, he’s my RB20 projected for 12.7 points…
#11 Malik Nabers will play. He missed practice on Wednesday with knee soreness but practiced to end the week. Nabers is my WR19 projected for 13.3 points this week…
#10 Cam Skattebo will play. He wore a red non-contact jersey to start the week, but Skattebo seems good to go for Week 5. He’s my RB18 projected for 13.2 points…
Before we keep going, the projections I’m referencing are from my weekly rankings inside The Blueprint.
#9 DeVonta Smith & Saquon Barkley are OUT. Dontayvion Wicks is also questionable with a hamstring injury. Dallas Goedert will return and could see a large role. If Wicks is out, Darius Cooper and Makai Lemon become deeper league WR options…
#8 Mike Evans will play. He played through this rib injury last week and totaled 76 yards on 8 targets. Evans is my WR24 projected for 12.4 points this week…
#7 Stefon Diggs is OUT. Terry McLaurin practiced Friday but is questionable. Jayden Daniels is back for the Commanders Rookie Antonio Williams will benefit most if McLaurin misses…
#6 Rico Dowdle is questionable. If he’s out, Jaylen Warren will be a Top 5 projected RB this week. If Dowdle is active, Warren drops to my RB13 projected for 15.4 points…
#5 Keenan Allen is questionable. But he’s been able to practice all week with a groin injury. In Week 3 without Alec Pierce, Allen totaled 63 yards and a score on 9 targets. He’s my WR48 projected for 8.9 points this week…
#4 Alvin Kamara is questionable. He missed practice earlier in the week with a back injury. If active, he could see a reduced workload. Kamara would be my RB21 projected for 11.9 points this week…
#3 Rhamondre Stevenson is questionable. He said he’s ready to go but his coach wouldn’t commit to him playing. If active, he could be limited…
#2 Mack Hollins is OUT. This makes Romeo Doubs my WR23 projected for 12.5 points. DeMario Douglas bumps up to my WR51 projected for 8.3 points…
#1 RB Chris Brooks is OUT . This should lead to a clean split between MarShawn Lloyd and Kaleb Johnson. Lloyd is my RB30 projected for 9.3 points this week, and Johnson is my RB37 projected for 7.2 points…
