Hey!

I’ve received plenty of questions about players who had poor performances in Week 2. There’s a lot of panic going around.

Let’s talk about the players that people are panicking about the most right now:

#3 Travis Etienne

Alvin Kamara returned in Week 2 and immediately took over a large role in this backfield. At halftime, Kamara had 10 touches vs. just 2 for Etienne.

The Saints paid Kamara $48 million this offseason with the expectation of being their RB1 but as of right now he’s in a 3 headed backfield where a man named CJ Donaldson is also playing 30% of the snaps.

This is a full panic on Travis Etienne. Hopefully you sold ‘high’ off his 15 point game last week because he’s a bench player moving forward until the role improves…

#2 Saquon Barkley

Saquon had a poor fantasy showing in Week 1 and the Eagles offense + O-Line did not look good. It seemed like it couldn’t get any worse, but then Week 2 happened…

Saquon played 12 snaps before leaving the game with a “stinger” on his neck. He’s having an MRI to see if any damage was done.

Injury aside, the Eagles run-blocking is not good right now. Saquon ranks bottom-6 in the NFL in rushing efficiency. He’s a hold right now, don’t sell low…

#1 George Pickens

Don’t be worried about Pickens. Sure, he’s had 2 poor fantasy showing to open the season, but his usage and role remain strong.

Pickens earned 8 targets in Week 2 on a solid 26% target share. The Cowboys passing game looked much better in Week 2.

We can’t expect Pickens to repeat his 2025 season where he produced big numbers while CeeDee Lamb was out or returning from a high-ankle sprain.

But expect Pickens to bounce back in Week 3, he’s still separating and still in a strong offense…
