Hey!
Here’s a quick tip for today - one that might feel uncomfortable:
Drafting safe players in the middle rounds often keeps you finishing 5th or 6th.
I get it. Guys like Cooper Kupp or Najee Harris look solid in Rounds 7–10.
They’ll get you 8 to 12 points a week. They have familiar names.
But here’s the problem:
That same production is sitting on your waiver wire.
Here’s what I’m doing instead:
In those rounds, I’m chasing players who could explode:
Drake Maye > has Top-10 QB upside
Jordan Mason > could step into 15+ touches overnight
Emeka Egbuka > talented rookie WRs often pop late in the season
Even if they bust, it doesn’t crush your roster.
But if they hit? You’ve got a season-changer - and that’s how titles are won.
Bottom line:
Middle rounds aren’t for safety. They’re for swinging at players with league-winning potential.
Play it safe with your waivers - not with your draft.
See you tomorrow with another tip!
