Hey!

Quick tip for you today, and it's one that will make you a better trade partner all season.

Here it is: stop building trade offers around what you want. Start building them around what your leaguemate needs.

Most fantasy managers approach trades completely backwards. They look at their own roster, decide what they want to upgrade, and fire off an offer that only makes sense from their side. Then they wonder why it gets rejected instantly.

Flip it. Before you send anything, look at your trade partner's roster first. Where are they thin? What position are they desperate at? What's their bye week problem? Build the offer around solving their issue, while quietly solving yours at the same time.

The best trades don't have a winner and a loser. They have 2 managers who both walk away feeling like they got better. That's a deal that actually gets accepted.

The moment you stop trying to "win" every trade and start trying to find the mutual upgrade, you'll be shocked at how many more deals go through.

The guys in your league who never make trades? They're usually the ones who only send offers that benefit themselves. Don't be that manager.

Enjoy your weekend, chat next week.
