Hey!
Fantasy draft season is right around the corner — and the top of the board is locking into shape.
Here are my top 12 overall players for the 2026 fantasy season:
#1 Bijan Robinson
He finished as the RB3 last season with 19.5 fantasy points per game on 79% snap share, 103 targets (2nd at RB), 1478 rushing yards and 79 catches.
From Week 11-17 he hit another gear with 23.9 fantasy points per game and 25+ points in 5 of 7 games.
Tyler Allgeier (who had more goal line touches than Bijan last year) is gone, and the only competition added is Brian Robinson. Bijan in his prime is the 1.01…
#2 Jahmyr Gibbs
With David Montgomery gone, Gibbs is another favorite for RB1 overall.
He was the RB4 last year with 19.3 fantasy points per game on 243 carries, 94 targets (3rd at RB), and 64 red zone touches.
In games without Montgomery the past 3 seasons, Gibbs averages 28.3 fantasy points per game.
The only addition is Isiah Pacheco, who is a downgrade from Montgomery…
#3 Puka Nacua
He was the WR1 in fantasy points per game last year and Davante Adams just turned 33.
Puka put up 19.4 fantasy points per game, a 36.6% target rate (1st in NFL), 129 receptions (1st), 1715 receiving yards and 11 total TDs.
Even with Davante back, the playoffs proved this offense runs through Puka: 18 targets in the Wildcard Round and 165 yards in the NFC Championship…
#4 Ja'Marr Chase
Chase had a "down" year and still finished with the 4th-most receiving yards in the NFL.
Most of the dip was QB play when Burrow was injured. But from Week 5 on with Burrow back he averaged 17.2 fantasy points per game on 12.5 targets per game.
The last full Burrow season in 2024, Chase was the WR1 at 20 fantasy points per game with 1708 yards and 17 total TDs…
#5 Jaxon Smith-Njigba
JSN just won OPOY and led the NFL in receiving yards last season.
He was the WR2 with 17.7 fantasy points per game on a 35.9% target share (1st). His 3.72 yards per route run was 2nd in football.
The Seahawks were tied for 3rd in rush attempts and just lost both lead backs. Klint Kubiak leaving for the Raiders is the one flag for this offense…
#6 Christian McCaffrey
He dropped 21.5 fantasy points per game last season with 95 red zone touches, 102 catches (1st), 924 receiving yards (1st), and 17 total TDs.
When healthy in 5 of 8 seasons since 2018, he averages 21.7 fantasy points per game.
Brian Robinson is gone and the rest of the RB room isn’t threatening CMC’s workload.
He just turned 30 and the durability is the only flag. But he’s an automatic league winner when he plays…

#7 Jonathan Taylor
Taylor just led the NFL in rushing TDs and his pace with Daniel Jones healthy was even better.
Through Week 13 with Jones healthy, he averaged 23.3 fantasy points per game (1st in NFL) with 15 rushing TDs in 12 games.
Repeating 20 total TDs is hard for any RB. But a workhorse on a Top 10 offense at this price is a steal…
#8 Amon-Ra St. Brown
3 straight seasons in the Top 5 in fantasy points per game.
Last season he posted 172 targets (2nd), 33 red zone targets (1st), 1401 yards, and 11 total TDs. He’s the most consistent WR in football.
After Dan Campbell took over playcalling in Week 10, Amon-Ra led every WR in the NFL in targets at a 30.7% target share.
He has the most stable WR1 floor at the position…
#9 Justin Jefferson
Jefferson just had the worst season of his career. He was the WR37 at 9.4 fantasy points per game.
But his 5-year career averages: 16.2 fantasy points per game, 146 targets, 99 catches, 1486 yards.
Now Kyler Murray takes over. In 2024 he produced 3,851 yards, 21 passing TDs, and turned Trey McBride into a 1100-yard receiver.
The Vikings last year ranked 29th in passing YPG and 1st in INTs. This should change entering 2026 with a QB upgrade…
#10 James Cook
Cook just led the entire NFL in rushing yards. Did anyone notice?
He was a Top 10 RB with 16.8 fantasy points per game with 309 carries, 59 red zone touches, 1621 rushing yards and 14 total TDs.
Buffalo led the NFL in rush attempts, rushing YPG, and rushing TDs. Cook had just 40 targets last year which is his biggest limiter since he has a mobile QB.
But he’s the engine of the most run-heavy offense in football and worth a top pick…
#11 CeeDee Lamb
Lamb had his worst season since his rookie year but the setup for a bounce back is perfect.
The Cowboys had the 2nd-best passing offense in football last year, 624 attempts and 31 passing TDs. But Lamb battled an early season injury which led to George Pickens standing out.
But a healthy Dak + Lamb combo is still as deadly as it gets for fantasy…
#12 Saquon Barkley
Saquon's 2025 wasn't a Saquon problem, it was a coaching problem.
He was the RB14 at 13.4 fantasy points per game under Kevin Patullo. Under Sirianni in 2024, he was the RB1 at 21.2 fantasy points per game with 2005 rushing yards.
The whole offense fell apart in 2025, the team points per game dropped from 27.2 to 22.3 and Saquon's true YPC went from 5.0 to 3.8.
Sean Mannion takes over as the new OC, and Saquon’s elite role is still locked in. If the O-Line improves Saquon should bounce back as a high-volume workhorse…
