The #1 Must Start at Each Position (Week 3)

Don’t bench these players this week...

Hey!

I’m back today to highlight one must-start player at each position for Week 3. These are players you don’t want sitting on your bench this weekend.

Let’s get into it…

RB: Jordan Mason

Aaron Jones is out, and Mason is set to handle a full workload.

When he started last season, he averaged over 100 rushing yards and 21 carries per game across 5 starts. That’s true workhorse usage.

Now, against a Bengals defense that’s already allowed big games to running backs, Mason is a must start…

TE: Jake Ferguson

Through 2 weeks Ferguson leads all tight ends with 14 receptions.

He’s also run the 4th most routes at the position - meaning he’s on the field nearly every play. This week he gets the Bears, who are giving up the most passing yards per play in football.

That’s the perfect recipe for another strong outing…

QB: Caleb Williams

The real-life play has been shaky, but in fantasy Williams has quietly been a Top-10 quarterback.

He’s averaging over 20 fantasy points per game, and now faces a Cowboys secondary that’s banged up and allowing the 3rd most passing yards in the league…

WR: Jakobi Meyers

Meyers is still being slept on, but he’s already a Top-20 receiver through two weeks.

With Geno Smith, he’s averaging 11 targets and 83 yards per game. The touchdowns haven’t come yet, but they will - and Washington’s secondary is a great spot for that breakout.

That’s all for now, lock these guys into your lineups for Week 3.
