I’m back today to let you know about the top waiver adds at each position for Week 5.

The only criteria here is that these players are available in at least 50% of leagues.

Let’s dive in, starting with the running back position…

RB: Woody Marks

Marks has quickly carved out the lead role in Houston’s backfield. In Week 4, he played 56% of the snaps, handled 22 opportunities, and turned them into 119 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 4 receptions.

There’s still no timeline for Joe Mixon’s return, and Marks looks like the most explosive option on the roster. Even if the Texans fall behind, his pass-catching profile locks him into PPR value.

This is not the type of usage you’ll find on waivers very often. Add him everywhere…

WR: Wan’Dale Robinson

The Giants took a major hit with Malik Nabers suffering a likely season-ending ACL tear. That leaves a massive target void in the offense and Robinson is the most logical player to step in.

We’ve already seen the upside. In Week 2, Robinson commanded 10 targets and turned them into 142 yards and a touchdown. Last season, he earned 140 targets - proof that he can sustain high-volume usage.

Expect him to take over as the primary underneath option, making him a strong PPR play the rest of the way…

TE: Brenton Strange

Tight end is thin, and Strange is quietly emerging as one of the position’s more reliable options.

He’s caught 6 passes in back-to-back games, ranks top 5 in receptions among TEs, and plays in a Jaguars offense that’s throwing at a top-10 rate.

If you need a bye-week replacement or just depth at the position, Strange is a strong plug-and-play add…

QB: Jaxson Dart

Dart made his first start against an undefeated Chargers team and delivered exactly the fantasy profile we look for: rushing upside.

He completed 13 of 20 passes for 111 yards and a touchdown, while also adding 10 carries for 54 rushing yards and another score. That’s 19.8 fantasy points in a debut - the kind of line that turns a streamer into a weekly option.

He’s rostered in just 23% of leagues. If you need a QB, or want to block someone else’s upgrade, grab him now before the market adjusts…

That’s it for today - four players you can actually plug in and feel good about heading into Week 5.
