I’m back today to highlight the top waiver adds at each position for Week 9.
These players are all available in over 50% of leagues. Let’s get into it…
RB: Trey Benson - Cardinals (47.9% rostered)
Benson opened the year as Arizona’s 3rd down back, but once James Conner went down, he stepped into the early-down role, playing 89% of those snaps in Week 4.
He’s been sidelined since due to meniscus surgery, but is eligible to return in Week 10.
With one of the best remaining RB schedules in football, Benson should reclaim the lead role and instantly become a borderline weekly fantasy starter.
If he’s sitting on waivers, stash him now before he’s back…
QB: Joe Flacco - Bengals (36.1% rostered)
Flacco has quietly been a fantasy QB1 over the past 3 weeks — averaging 23.0 points per game, the sixth-most at the position.
The Bengals rank #1 in pass attempts over that stretch, and Flacco has the #3 easiest QB schedule the rest of the season, including multiple juicy playoff matchups.
He’s a strong Week 9 streamer & a viable long-term starter depending on your roster…
TE: Mason Taylor - Jets (20.4% rostered)
Taylor has averaged over 10 fantasy points per game since Week 4.
He led the team in targets last week and continues to see strong snaps, even with the Jets offense shuffling QBs and pass catchers.
Taylor is a great short-term option and a high-upside rookie stash for your stretch run…
WR: Troy Franklin - Broncos (42.4% rostered)
Franklin is trending up. He just produced 6 catches for 89 yards & 2 TDs in Week 8.
His role is expanding while Marvin Mims has shrunk. If Franklins snaps continue climbing, he could be a FLEX mainstay with weekly scoring upside.
He’s still out there in over half of leagues…
That’s all for today. Add these guys and let’s get ready to crush Week 9.
