Hey!
Quick tip for today - especially if you’re staring at that draft board trying to decide on a quarterback:
In fantasy, passing yards don’t win you weeks. Rushing does.
It’s easy to fall for the big passing stats. A QB throws for 300 yards and 3 TDs, and it looks amazing on paper.
But here’s the reality:
If your QB doesn’t run, you need them to be perfect every single week - or they’ll finish behind guys who pick up points with their legs.
Here’s some examples:
Jared Goff had a career season… and still finished as QB8.
Meanwhile, Jayden Daniels ran for almost 900 yards and 6 TDs - and outscored most veterans QBs who threw for way more yards than him.
Same in 2025: I’d rather draft someone like Drake Maye who can run for 40 yards and a TD on a bad passing day.
That’s an automatic 10-point floor.
Bottom line:
If your QB can’t run, they’d better be elite. Otherwise, you’re leaving points on the table.
Draft a weapon - not just a passer.
See you tomorrow with another tip!
