The NFL Draft Just Shook Up Fantasy Football

The biggest winners, losers, and breakout picks from Round 1...

Last Night’s Round 1 of the NFL Draft Shook Up Fantasy Football.

And a handful of players just saw their stock skyrocket (or take a major hit).

Here’s who got impacted the most 👇

🔋 Omarion Hampton → Chargers

LA used a 1st-round pick on him — clear sign they view him as the guy.

Najee Harris is there, but Hampton is younger, more explosive, and more complete.
Think: Joe Mixon 2.0…

🐆 Tetairoa McMillan → Panthers

Bryce Young finally gets a legit WR1.

McMillan can win inside and out, and new HC Dave Canales knows how to use versatile receivers. This also hurts Xavier Legette & Jalen Coker’s volume outlook.

🟡 Jaylen Warren → Winner

The Steelers passed on offense in Round 1. They don’t pick again until Round 3.

Warren’s only competition is Kenneth Gainwell and a potential Day 3 rookie.

His stock is quietly rising…

🧀 Matthew Golden → Packers

First Round 1 WR they’ve taken since 2002.

Golden’s explosive and versatile — he has a real shot at becoming the WR1 in an unsettled WR room.

Ideal fit for Jordan Love…

☠️ Ashton Jeanty → Raiders

RBs drafted in the Top 10 have a massive fantasy hit rate - since 2010 88% of backs taken in the Top 10 finish as RB1s in fantasy their rookie season.

Jeanty is a true 3-down back, and this backfield is wide open. He's an instant 1st-round fantasy pick…

⭐ Cowboys RB (TBD)

If Dallas takes a back on Day 2 — whoever it is becomes a massive fantasy winner.

Names to watch: Kaleb Johnson, Quinshon Judkins, Dylan Sampson…

🐆 Travis Hunter → Jaguars

The Jags traded up for him — giving Trevor Lawrence a shiny new weapon alongside Brian Thomas.

With new playcaller Liam Coen and offensive line upgrades, Lawrence is trending up…

🏴‍☠️ Emeka Egbuka → Bucs

Egbuka is a refined route runner with elite separation.

But he joins a crowded room (Evans, Godwin, Jalen McMillan). If Godwin’s healthy, Egbuka’s Year 1 impact could be muted.

Biggest winner here? Baker Mayfield.

🟢 Garrett Wilson → Quiet Winner

The Jets passed on WR/TE in Round 1.

Even if they take one later, it likely won’t be someone with the same talent level as a Colston Loveland or Tetairoa McMillan.

Elite target volume is still in play for Wilson…

🟤 Jerry Jeudy → Quiet Winner

The Browns passed on Travis Hunter and went defense instead.

They have two early Round 2 picks — but if they don’t go WR, Jeudy’s outlook gets much brighter…

🐻 Colston Loveland → Bears

Perfect scheme + perfect opportunity.

The Bears just handed Caleb Williams an elite playmaking TE. Ben Johnson could turn Loveland into his next LaPorta.

And the biggest loser here? Cole Kmet.

💧 James Cook → Safe (for now)

Buffalo didn’t take a back in Round 1.

There’s still risk in Round 2 — but the top dogs (Henderson, Kaleb Johnson) might be off the board by the end of the 2nd round.

Cook’s RB1 role remains intact for now…

🐎 Tyler Warren → Colts

Richardson gets a big, athletic TE weapon in Warren.

104 catches last year at Penn State, used everywhere.

But in a run-heavy scheme with questionable passing volume… it’s a bit murky…

🔨 Cam Ward → Titans

Sneaky good fit.

Ward extends plays and hits timing routes — that’s huge for Ridley & Lockett. Both WRs get a fantasy bump.

And Ward? He’s a late-round dart worth taking…

🗽 Jaxson Dart → Giants

Giants traded up for him.

He’s Ole Miss’s all-time leading passer — accurate, mobile, and tough.

He’ll compete with Russ and Jameis… but don’t be shocked if Dart is starting by midseason…

💡More picks coming tonight. Stay tuned — Day 2 could flip the board again.
