Hey!
Every round has a player you need to fade this season, the guy your leaguemates keep hyping up but he’s about to torch someone's season.
These are the players I refuse to draft in every round this season:
Round 1: Ashton Jeanty
Jeanty was the RB17 last year at 12.8 PPG on a league-best 84.3% opportunity share, but the efficiency was ugly (3.5 true yards per carry, 63rd).
The Raiders OL is still a question despite offseason moves and the team has a new coach and 2 new QBs. There are too many questions to take Jeanty Round 1.
Round 2: De'Von Achane
He was the RB5 at 18.1 points per game, but the situation just cratered around him.
Mike McDaniel is gone and Malik Willis replaces Tua (a scrambler who doesn't dump off to RBs as much). Expect less targets and touchdowns for Achane this season…
Round 3: Kyren Williams
He was splitting this Rams backfield with Blake Corum down the stretch last season, and Corum played great. Reports say the Rams want to do the same this year.
There’s a lot of risk for a 3rd round pick…
Round 4: Tetairoa McMillan
He was strong as a rookie, but the WR room got a bit crowded with rookie Chris Brazzell, and Jalen Coker actually outproduced him from Week 12 on last year.
Plus, Bryce Young didn't sniff top-10 in any major passing category in 2025 and it’s hard to see him improving this year…
Round 5: Joe Burrow
Burrow is going as the QB4, and he needs another 40-TD season just to justify it. He rushes for almost nothing each year and has only played 1 healthy season in the last 3.
Meanwhile Jalen Hurts goes later in drafts with a higher floor and ceiling thanks to his mobility and touchdown upside on the ground.
Round 6: Jaylen Warren
The Steelers just brought in Rico Dowdle, who has back-to-back 1300-yard seasons and Dowdle already produced under Mike McCarthy in 2024 (1079 rushing yards).
Warren is a talented back, but hard to see his full ceiling here compared to other Round 6 options…
Round 7: Harold Fannin
His rookie target share was strong, but everything around him just got worse. The Browns added 2 rookie WRs who are going to eat directly into his target share.
And the QB room is still a disaster (Gabriel, Sanders, or Watson, none move the needle). Fannin goes 1-2 rounds too early…
Round 8: Kenneth Gainwell
He had his best pass-catching year in 2025, but now he's walking into a backup role behind Bucky Irving on a brand new team.
Gainwell goes in a range next to Josh Downs, Rachaad White, and Jayden Reed who are all better bets in Round 8 …
Round 9: Jonathon Brooks
He’s being drafted inside the Top 100 off 12 career NFL touches and a 2 torn ACLs.
People are drafting the 2023 Texas tape, but that was a 1-year sample (he had 143 rushing yards in 2021 and 197 in 2022). And Chuba Hubbard is still on this team…
Round 10: Jared Goff
He just finished 2nd in the NFL in passing yards AND TDs but and was only the QB13.
He's been Top-6 in yards and TDs 4 straight years and only cracked the Top 10 once because he's one of the least mobile QBs alive…
