Hey!
Today's tip takes about 30 seconds to implement, and it'll make your entire season better.
Add more rounds to your draft.
That's it. Most leagues run 14-15 rounds. I personally run 18 rounds in my 12-team leagues, and it's a game changer.
Here's why it matters: more rounds means deeper rosters.
Deeper rosters means the waiver wire is thinner, which means every draft pick carries more weight. You can't just coast on the Top 5 rounds and stream your way through the season, you actually have to know your stuff in the later rounds.
And if you're reading this email, that's your advantage.
You're doing more research than most people in your league. Extra rounds reward that. While your leaguemates are guessing on names they've never heard of in round 16, you're grabbing the sleeper you've been watching all offseason.
That's where leagues are won.
Propose it to your league this offseason. Most commissioners can change it in about 30 seconds in the platform settings.
It's a low-effort upgrade that makes draft night longer (in a good way) and makes every week of the season more interesting.
