Hey!

Every single round of your draft has a landmine in it, a guy everybody loves but he’s about to wreck your team.

I went round by round and pulled the one pick I'm fading in each range for 2026.

Here are the worst picks you can make in every round of your fantasy drafts:

Round 1: Jaxon Smith-Njigba

Look, in Round 1 there are no bad picks. But for the purposes of this email, we have to pick one, and it’s JSN for me.

JSN just won offensive player of the year with 17.7 fantasy points per game and 1793 receiving yards.

However, now offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak is gone. An OC change creates some volatility for a player going in the Top 5 picks…

Round 2: Josh Allen

Allen just finished as the overall QB1. He’s obviously great.

But the real problem is what's behind him at the position this year. Drake Maye, Jayden Daniels, Caleb Williams & Jalen Hurts have all flashed a similar ceiling over the years.

You can get those guys 3-4 rounds later than Allen, this is the year to wait on QB a bit…

Round 3: Malik Nabers

He tore his ACL after just 4 games last year and hasn't been back at practice since.

Plus, new coach John Harbaugh's teams have never been pass-heavy, 422 attempts in 2025 ranked dead last.

Nabers talent is Top-5 when healthy, but he doesn’t appear to be anywhere near 100% yet…

Round 4: Quinshon Judkins

He flashed early as a rookie (14.6 points per game from Weeks 2-7).

But Judkins fell off a cliff to 8.7 points per game over the back half of the season. Deshaun Watson is the early favorite to be the Browns QB this year, not great.

The Browns ranked 30th in total yards per game & 31st in points per game last year. The offense is gross and Judkins doesn’t catch passes - he’s a fade in Round 4…

Round 5: Joe Burrow

He was elite when healthy in 2025, but his mobility continues to limit his weekly upside.

Even in his 2024 monster year he was only the QB3 because he ran for just 11.8 yards per game. Compare that to Jalen Hurts worst rushing year (421 yards, 8 TDs), and it makes Burrow’s floor shaky each season.

You're betting on another 40-TD season just to break even…

Round 6: Harold Fannin

He had one of the best rookie TE target years we've seen, but his role is about to shrink.

The Browns added 2 rookie WRs in the first 2 rounds of this years NFL Draft. Concepcion and Denzel Boston could be Day 1 starters based on their talent alone.

His target share is about to shrink and the QB situation is still poor for Fannin…

Round 7: Alec Pierce

Pierce just broke 1000 yards on a league-leading 51.8% air-yard share. He deserves every dollar of that new contract he signed this offseason.

But Daniel Jones was the one pushing it downfield (37 deep balls). That deep-throw rate is likely going to disappear coming off a torn Achilles.

Not to mention, Pierce is currently recovering from a 4-6 month surgery that puts his Week 1 status in question…

Round 8: Courtland Sutton

Sutton went over 1000 yards again last season but Denver just brought in Jaylen Waddle, his toughest competition of his career.

Bo Nix threw it 612 times last season (1st) with 71 deep balls (3rd), that’s exactly the kind of downfield game Waddle’s speed can thrive under.

Sutton is now 30 years old and his target share will likely shrink, he’s a Round 8 fade…

Round 9: Wan'Dale Robinson

He earned a WR1 workload (140 targets) last year with Malik Nabers injured.

But his situation just got worse after signing with the Titans. Despite Brian Daboll still being his playcaller, Wan’Dale now has much more target competition.

He’ll compete with Top 5 pick Carnell Tate and a healthy Calvin Ridley. It’s unlikely Wan’Dale plays on the outside much this year, thus limiting his upside…

Round 10: Romeo Doubs

His new the situation hints that he’s complementary piece in the Patriots offense.

His usage cratered in the back half of 2025 when Christian Watson returned from injury. That’s important because it showed he took a back seat to a true WR1.

Now AJ Brown comes in as the true alpha in the Patriots offense. Doubs profiles as a Kayshon Boutte-level producer, not worthy of a 10th round price tag in fantasy…
