Hey!
Week 1 is in the books and some guys put up monster games. It’s a good time to try and sell high on some of these players to make your team better long-term.
Here are 5 players I’m selling high on this week:
#5 Jalen Coker
Coker caught 8 of 9 targets for 138 yards and 2 TDs (29.8 points). He was the best fantasy receiver on the week.
He’s outperformed Tetairoa McMillan over their last 6 games together. He’s been legit great. But Coker is still not a Top 30 receiver in fantasy.
If you can sell-high after this career-high game, you should…
#4 Travis Etienne
He split the Saints backfield with TWO other RBs.
Kendre Miller got both carries inside the 10 and scored and CJ Donaldson took 60% of the third down snaps. That's three backs splitting one job, gross.
And Alvin Kamara is coming back soon. I’m selling high on Etienne who benefitted from checkdown targets in a game where his QB threw 56 times…
#3 Isaiah Likely
He was the TE1 in Week 1, it was a career game for Likely.
He went 8-for-8 for 78 yards and 2 TDs (23.8 points). His 27.6% target share was 2nd on the team behind Malik Nabers.
I think Likely can be a very good fantasy TE. He has all the tools to finish Top 5 at the positions. But it's worth exploring a trade if you can upgrade him.
#2 David Montgomery
He scored 3 touchdowns in his debut with the Texans.
Montgomery put up 27.4 points on 20 carries for 60 yards, Woody Marks played 36 snaps to Monty's 37.
It’s a good time to sell-high on Montgomery, it’s unlikely Houston puts up 400 yards of offense most weeks and this will likely be his best game of the season…
#1 Chuba Hubbard
He scored 2 TDs in a shootout against the Bears defense.
Chuba put up 22 points and dominated the snaps over Jonathon Brooks. He had a 70% snap share and earned 13 touches to just 5 for Brooks.
But this matchup was incredible. The Bears defense will likely be the worst in the NFL this year and a fantasy goldmine for opposing players.
Hubbard remains an inefficient back on a bad offense, sell high while you still can…
