Hey
Week 1 is just hours away and before it begins you need to know the important news that came in the last 24 hours:
Christian McCaffrey is expected to play. The 49ers didn’t elevate another RB from their practice squad which indicates McCaffrey will suit up. It’s unknown how much he’ll play, but if he’s active you start him in fantasy.
Travis Hunter will be an every-down WR and situational cornerback. This has been the likely outcome all along if you’ve been paying attention this offseason. But it’s good to get the official news from the team. Hunter is a must start Week 1.
Quinshon Judkins signs a fully guaranteed deal with the Browns. The 2nd round pick is now officially a member of the team. He’s not expected to play Week 1, which does make Jerome Ford and Dylan Sampson flex options in deeper leagues…
Kyle Monangai was not listed on the Bears final injury report for Monday Night. The 7th round rookie could have a real role in Week 1 because…
Roschon Johnson is questionable for Monday Night Football. He’s dealing with a foot injury and missed practice on Thursday and Friday. If he’s out, Monangai is worth stashing to see how the backfield shakes out.
That’s all for now, I’ll see you tomorrow for the Week 2 Waiver Wire Guide
