It’s Trade Wednesday and here are the players you should consider trading for before Week 1 kicks off and their values increases.

Running Backs to Trade For:

1. Jonathan Taylor: he finished 2024 averaging over 170 rushing yards per game…

And now he doesn’t have Anthony Richardson as his QB which means more redzone touches for Taylor and probably more targets as well…

2. Austin Ekeler: everyone is excited about Jacory Croskey-Merritt…

But Ekeler is the back I want in Washington. He’s the proven veteran with the best pass protection and pass catching skills compared to JCM.

3. JK Dobbins: according to Broncos insider Benjamin Allbright, Dobbins is the starter right now because Sean Payton trusts him more in pass protection…

Who knows if this will hold up once the games start, but getting Dobbins as a cheap throw in during a trade is a sharp move to make right now…

Wide Receivers to Trade For:

1. Rome Odunze: he looked like the Bears #1 receiver in the final preseason game…

Odunze earned 5 targets and a touchdown in just 1 half of play. Odunze is set up well for a 2nd year breakout in this new Ben Johnson led offense…

2. Courtland Sutton: he has no serious competition for targets in Denver…

We saw this in the final preseason game where he had 83 yards in just 1 half. His WR competition is Marvin Mims & Troy Franklin, that should tell you all you need to know…

3. Matthew Golden: he operated as the Packers #1 receiver throughout training camp…

And his biggest competition to enter the year in Jayden Reed now has a foot injury. Golden has the perfect downfield skillset that pairs well with Jordan Love’s big arm…
