Hey!
Week 1 always creates overreactions. A box score can trick people into selling the wrong players, while usage tells the real story.
Here are 4 wide receivers whose roles are far more valuable than the points they scored suggest:
Drake London
London has averaged 20+ fantasy points, 13+ targets, and 100+ yards per game with Michael Penix dating back to last year.
In Week 1, he saw 15 targets and a 35%+ target share before leaving with a shoulder sprain. Reports call him day-to-day. This is WR1 usage, but his market value is lower because of the injury.
Buy now before he’s fully healthy and dominating again…
Rashee Rice
Last season, Rice averaged 21.6 points, 8 catches, and 100 yards in his only 3 full games. That role still exists, Mahomes threw 40 times in Week 1, and Marquise Brown saw 16 targets in Rice’s slot role.
Rice is suspended 5 more games, which is why you can buy low now. When he returns, expect Top 12 WR production…
Calvin Ridley
Ridley’s Week 1 box score looked bad, but he played 94% of snaps, ran a route on 94% of dropbacks, and saw 29% of targets.
The issue was being shadowed by Pat Surtain with a rookie QB against Denver. But the usage was elite. Perception is down, but this is a clear buy-low window before softer matchups hit…
Tetairoa McMillan
The rookie is already the Panthers focal point. In Week 1 he saw 9 targets, 5 catches, 68 yards and 44% of Bryce Young’s passing yards.
He also led the team in snaps, routes, and owned a 25% target share. That’s WR1 treatment in his debut.
If Young stabilizes, Tet has immediate Top-20 upside. Buy before it’s obvious…
These are 4 wide receivers I’m sending trades for right now and you should too.
