Hey!
We’re back with trades - the most underrated way to win in fantasy football.
After 4 weeks, box scores are creating overreactions everywhere. Managers see ugly stat lines and panic. But usage? Usage tells the truth.
Here are 3 running backs whose roles are way more valuable than their fantasy points suggest right now:
#3 Trey Benson - buy before the schedule flips
Benson’s Week 4 line looked underwhelming: 8 carries for 35 yards and 5 catches for 19 yards. The real frustration came from Emari Demercado stealing the 2-minute drill work and catching the touchdown.
But context matters. Seattle’s defense has been one of the league’s best, allowing under 4.5 yards per play. Arizona also played from behind, which naturally elevated Demercado’s role. Strip that out, and Benson was still the clear lead back.
This is your buy window before Benson rolls into Conner-like usage with younger legs…
#2 Kenneth Walker - production is coming, the role is already there
Walker’s Week 4 split with Zach Charbonnet makes the backfield look closer than it really is. Charbonnet grabbed the TD, but Walker was the more impactful runner.
He played half the snaps, handled 62% of the opportunities, and finished with 110 total yards on 20 touches. He even sat 2 drives after an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, meaning his line could’ve been even bigger.
If anyone in your league is scared off by Charbonnet’s score, now’s the time to send offers. You’re buying a 20-touch back with big-play upside…
#1 Jaylen Warren - buy during the bye week fog
Kenneth Gainwell’s Week 4 eruption has already pushed Warren out of the spotlight. That’s your edge.
When Warren was healthy in Weeks 2 and 3, he logged 32 carries, 9 catches, and over 200 total yards. His snap share jumped from 58% to nearly 80%, and he handled over 80% of backfield opportunities in Week 3.
Aaron Rodgers has leaned on him heavily in the passing game and even with Gainwell earning some touches, this is still one of the most RB-friendly offenses in the league.
Warren is the clear lead when healthy, and the bye week is the perfect time to pounce…
These are 3 running backs I’m sending trades for right now and you should too.
