Hey!
We’re back with trades —-still the most underrated way to win in fantasy football.
After 5 weeks, managers are overreacting to one bad game or injury scare. That’s where the value lives.
Here are 3 running backs whose roles are far better than the public thinks right now:
#3 Woody Marks - buy low before the production flips back
Week 4 teased the breakout: 17 carries, 5 targets, and 25.9 fantasy points.
Then Week 5 came and the box score swung toward Nick Chubb in a blowout. But when you filter out garbage time, Marks still led in snaps and late-down work.
He’s the better receiver, handled goal-line touches evenly, and this offense has already shown it can support 2 backs.
If your league mate thinks Week 4 was a fluke, use that to buy low before the pendulum swings back…
#2 Jaylen Warren - the perfect buy window
Everyone’s distracted by Kenneth Gainwell’s Week 4 eruption. But before that, Warren was dominating the role: 32 carries, 9 targets, and 200 total yards across Weeks 2–3.
He’s healthy again after a short absence, and the offense ranks 2nd in weighted opportunities per game.
Trade for Warren before he goes back to being the Steelers workhorse RB…
#1 James Cook - one quiet week means a nice buying opportunity
Week 5 was the first time Cook didn’t hit 100 total yards this season. He produced 15 carries for 49 and no catches. But don’t overreact.
He still ranks top 5 in red-zone touches, total yards, and fantasy points per game.
The Bills backups have combined for just 2 catches and 83 rushing yards this season. This is Cook’s backfield. Use the dud week as cover and send offers while you still can…
These are 3 running backs I’m sending trades for right now — and you should too.
