Hey!
We’re back with trade targets - still the most underrated way to win in fantasy football.
After 7 weeks, managers are overreacting to one bad game or short-term trend. That’s your chance to buy value.
Here are 3 running backs whose roles are far better than the box score shows:
#3 Kimani Vidal - buy the role, not the recency bias
Week 7 looks like a dud, and that’s your entry point.
He posted just 9 carries for 20 yards in a game where Justin Herbert threw 55 times for 420 yards. The Chargers ran it only 16 times total, this was a game script issue for Vidal.
The role hasn’t changed. Vidal still played 65% of snaps and handled 82% of the opportunities, while Hassan Haskins left with a hamstring injury.
With Omarion Hampton out until after the Week 12 bye, Vidal’s locked into 5+ more weeks of lead-back volume…
#2 Trey Benson - the IR discount
Benson’s stock tanked because of an injury and a quiet box score the last time we saw him, but don’t let that fool you.
Before going on IR, he averaged 4.6 yards per carry and ranked Top-15 in both juke rate and explosive play rate. He was Arizona’s clear lead back when James Conner was out.
Since he’s been sidelined, the Cardinals backfield has been brutal. The “replacements” weren’t even on the roster when Benson was healthy. This is an easy buy-low spot…
#1 Breece Hall - the perfect buy window
Breece just logged 11 carries for 38 yards in an ugly game vs Carolina, and that’s your opportunity.
Even in this bad offense, he’s had 100+ total yards in nearly half his games, and since Braelon Allen went down, he’s handled over 90% of the backfield touches.
He’s due for touchdown regression, and Tyrod Taylor at QB could stabilize the passing volume. You’re buying a workhorse with elite efficiency who hasn’t cashed in yet…
These are 3 running backs I’m sending offers for right now — and you should too.
