Hey!
Everyone is drafting the same rookies right now, but most of them are wrong.
The popular picks are getting overdrafted while better fits at better landing spots are available.
Here are the 5 rookies you should actually be taking over the obvious names:
#5 Chris Bell > Eli Stowers
Bell tore his ACL in December but reports have him way ahead of schedule.
Pre-injury he was 6'2, 222 pounds with projected 4.3 speed. He broke out at Louisville in 2025 with 106 targets, 72 catches, 917 yards, and 6 TDs in just 11 games.
The Dolphins took him in Round 3 and this WR room has no real WR1.
Meanwhile Stowers walks into an Eagles room with Dallas Goedert, DeVonta Smith, and rookie Makai Lemon, on a team that ranked 24th in pass attempts last season…
#4 Kenyon Sadiq > Omar Cooper
Sadiq put up one of the best TE combines of all time at 6'3, 241 pounds with a 4.39 forty time. He posted 51 catches, 560 yards, and 8 TDs in 2025 at Oregon.
The Jets took him at Pick 16. Garrett Wilson is coming off a season-ending knee injury and Mason Taylor had just 1 TD as the other TE last year.
Cooper is buried behind Garrett Wilson and slot-locked at 83.3% of his snaps. Sadiq has a cleaner path to a Year 1 breakout…
#3 De'Zhaun Stribling > Chris Brazzell
Stribling is 6'2, 207 pounds with a 4.36 forty time. He posted 55 catches for 811 yards and 6 TDs at Ole Miss.
The 49ers grabbed him in Round 2. He joins a pass-catcher room with an aging Mike Evans, Ricky Pearsall who can't stay healthy and George Kittle just tore his Achilles.
Chris Brazzell only had a 41% contested catch rate and fits the recent failed Tennessee WR profile (Hyatt, Tillman, Thornton).
Stribling has the better landing spot by a mile and could be 1 year away from being the primary WR on the outside for Brock Purdy…

#2 Antonio Williams > Germie Bernard
Williams ran a 4.41 forty time and went for 75/904/11 at Clemson in 2024 with a 1.8% drop rate and 93% slot snap rate.
The Commanders took him in Round 3. Deebo and Zach Ertz are gone, that's 171 targets that just left the building.
Williams is the natural fit for the slot AND the gadget work, with Jayden Daniels back to full health.
Meanwhile, Germie Bernard went to Pittsburgh where DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman are above him in a low-volume passing offense with a shaky QB room…
#1 KC Concepcion > Jadarian Price
Concepcion just walked into a WR1 role for the Browns at pick 24. He posted 61 catches, 919 yards, and 9 TDs at Texas A&M in 2025.
He finished 1st in this entire WR class in success rate vs man coverage according to Reception Perception.
The Browns took him with the explicit plan of him being their #1 WR. Jerry Jeudy fell off a cliff last season, Denzel Boston is the X, and Harold Fannin at TE is the only real target competition.
As for Jadarian Price, he never topped 750 yards or 125 touches in a season at Notre Dame, has 10 catches over the last 2 years, and Zach Charbonnet could return later in the season to limit Price’s fantasy playoff upside…
