Hey!
Three weeks are in the books, and this is the point where the waiver wire can swing your season.
Usage trends are starting to settle in, breakouts are forming, and there are still players sitting in free agency who can make a difference.
Here are 3 names you should be looking at heading into Week 4:
#3 Tre Tucker: available in 97% of leagues
Tucker has 8+ targets in back-to-back games and just exploded for 145 yards and 3 scores on 9 targets.
That’s a 31% target share, ahead of Brock Bowers and Jakobi Meyers.
It’s early, but a new QB + new coaching staff + real volume means we need to take this seriously. He’s a priority add at WR…
#2 Woody Marks: available in 91% of leagues
Marks is a rookie people still aren’t taking seriously enough. He carved out a real role next to Nick Chubb in Week 3 seeing nearly a 50/50 split in snaps.
More importantly, Marks actually ran more routes than Chubb and handled almost all the 2-minute drill work. On a Texans team that will be trailing plenty, that’s valuable.
With Dameon Pierce scratched and Joe Mixon off the radar, Marks could be a long-term upside play. Add him before the breakout comes…
#1 Trey Benson: available in 50% of leagues
Through 2 weeks, Benson flashed elite efficiency: 13% target share (Top 10), 6.0 yards per carry, and a league-best 7.4 yards per touch.
Week 3 wasn’t flashy in the box score, but James Conner went down with a likely season ending injury.
Benson took over and saw 75% of the carries the rest of the game. Benson is a Top 20 RB rest of season. Add him everywhere.
These 3 players are among the best waiver targets heading into Week 3. Whether you need WR upside or RB depth, these are the stashes that could pay off all season…
