Hey!
Four weeks are in the books, and this is the point where the waiver wire can swing your season.
Usage trends are starting to settle in, breakouts are forming, and there are still players sitting in free agency who can make a difference.
Here are 3 names you should be looking at heading into Week 5:
#3 Romeo Doubs
Doubs once again led all Packers WRs in snaps and routes run. In Week 4, he also led the team with 8 targets (22% share) and converted that into 3 touchdowns.
It’s clear Jordan Love and Matt LaFleur trust him most in the red zone - he now has 3 red-zone TDs on the year with more targets coming his way.
The Packers are on bye in Week 5, and Jayden Reed/Christian Watson could return in a month. But with Doubs touchdown upside in a quality offense, he’s still a priority add.
#2 Wan’Dale Robinson / Darius Slayton
Malik Nabers is believed to have torn his ACL and is likely done for the season.
Two things matter right now: you need replacement production if you had Nabers, and someone could step into the WR1 role for New York.
Wan’Dale Robinson has shown a ceiling. Back in Week 2, he saw 10 targets, caught 8 for 142 yards and a touchdown. He also earned 140 targets last year, so the volume isn’t theoretical - he can handle PPR-heavy usage right away.
Meanwhile, Darius Slayton led the team in receiving in Week 4. He’s the clear downfield complement and offers splash-play upside that can swing a matchup.
Robinson is the priority add with WR2 upside, and Slayton is a matchup-based flex you can roll out immediately…
#1 Woody Marks
Marks handled a team-high 56% of snaps and piled up 22 opportunities in Week 4. He turned that into 119 yards, 2 touchdowns, and added 4 receptions.
There’s still no update on Joe Mixon’s status, but Marks looks like the best RB in Houston. Even if the Texans fall behind in games, Marks elite pass-catching ability keeps him locked into PPR relevance.
This is the kind of usage profile that doesn’t sit on waivers for long. Add him everywhere.
These 3 players are among the best waiver targets heading into Week 5. Whether you need WR upside or RB depth, these are the stashes that could pay off all season…
