Hey!
Six weeks are down, and this is when the waiver wire can swing your season.
Roles are starting to settle, injuries are piling up, and there are still players sitting in free agency who can actually help your lineup right now.
Here are 3 names you should be looking at heading into Week 7:
#3 Tyjae Spears
Spears returned from injury last week, and immediately looked like his old self.
And on Sunday, he split time with Tony Pollard, handling most of the 2-minute drill work while still mixing in on early downs. What stood out most: Spears averaged 6.2 yards per carry, while Pollard managed just 3.4.
If the Titans offense keeps struggling, Spears’ role could grow fast. He’s the younger, more explosive back, and could easily take on more work as the season rolls on.
He’s worth a stash now before that happens…
#2 Bam Knight
Knight quietly led the Cardinals backfield in snaps after Emari Demercado went down.
James Conner is out for the season, Trey Benson is on IR, and Knight handled 34 snaps compared to Michael Carter’s 21. Knight also took every goal-line carry, including a one-yard touchdown early in the game.
Expect another two-man split between Knight and Carter next week, with Knight in the more valuable role. He’s a solid short-term pickup, especially if you’re dealing with bye weeks or injuries at RB…
#1 Kimani Vidal
Vidal stepped into the Chargers’ starting job and took full advantage, rushing for over 100 yards in his first NFL start.
With Omarion Hampton on IR and Najee Harris already done for the year, the backfield belongs to Vidal for now. He played 57% of snaps, saw 20 total touches, and looked explosive on tape.
Hassan Haskins mixed in on passing downs, but Vidal’s workload and efficiency make him the clear priority add this week. He’s a short-term starter in all 10-team leagues until Hampton returns…
These 3 players are among the top waiver wire targets heading into Week 7…
