Hey!

A lot just happened in fantasy football.

Here are 4 players you should consider adding in your league before Week 9:

Seth McGowan

He remains the best add on waivers right now for the 2nd straight week.

Jonathan Taylor could be traded this week. It seemed like Taylor was saying goodbye to teammates on the sideline at the end of the game this week. Multiple teams are interested in Taylor, it’s now just a matter of compensation.

McGowan is the only RB behind Taylor to earn a touch this season. This offense isn’t good and the O-Line is even worse after trading Quenton Nelson.

But a potential starting RB is extremely valuable in fantasy, especially this season. If McGowan if he’s still available…

Mike Washington

He’s a must add after what just happened in Week 8. Washington earned 25 carries compared to just 2 for Ashton Jeanty.

Washington led the team played 63% of the snaps. Jeanty wasn’t injured, this was by design. After the game coach Klint Kubiak said he wanted to see how this looked.

Add Washington ASAP in case this trend continues…

Adonai Mitchell

He returned last week from hand surgery. Mitchell had 0 catches on 3 targets in his first game back. But Week 9 was totally different…

His routes increased and so did his production. Mitchell earned a 29% target share and turned this usage into a team-high 7 catches for 142 yards and a score.

He now has had 3 quality outings in his 4 starts this season.

This Jets WR room is now loaded with Garrett Wilson, Omar Cooper and Mitchell. But there are few players on waivers at this point who have Mitchell’s weekly upside.

I’m adding him where I can before Week 9…

Antonio Williams

The Commanders returned from their bye for their first game without Terry McLaurin.

Williams led the WRs in routes and targets. He turned this team-high 25% target share into 5 catches for 54 yards and had another explosive play of 30 yards.

The Commanders played with a lead the entire 2nd half. Jayden Daniels only threw 29 times in this game. Expect more passing volume in future weeks, that’s when you can see a Williams breakout game.

Add him while you still can…
